Why it matters
Someone who already knows your name is the warmest traffic there is. Today that person lands on a finished event or a blog post rather than the page built to introduce the community and book a tour. Event and post pages are outranking the homepage for the brand itself, which means the homepage is not being read as the canonical page for The Village.
What we would do
Retire or redirect expired event pages, add internal links from event and post pages back to the homepage, set a canonical on every page, and add an Organization markup block that names The Village at Woods Edge, the North High Street address and the not-for-profit status so Google can tell which page is the community.
